WHO CAN BE A WIFA MEMBER?

A fire department (paid, combination-paid and volunteer) in West Central Illinois.

WHAT IF I'M NOT PART OF A FIRE DEPARTMENT?

Anyone who supports the objectives of the organization and pays the yearly dues can become an Associate Member.

WHAT ARE THE YEARLY DUES FOR MEMBERSHIP IN WIFA?

Annual dues for member Fire Taxing Districts shall be $25 per taxing district, payable at the January meeting. This entitles all members of that taxing district to attend WIFA meetings. But only 1 delegate from that taxing district is eligible to vote.

Associate memberships are $25 per year, payable at the January meeting. Associate members can attend WIFA meetings but are not allowed to vote.

WHEN ARE WIFA MEETINGS HELD?

Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of every other month (January, March, May, July, September, November) rotating between member departments.
